Overview
JOB PURPOSE
The Manager will understand the RFP/RFQ requirements in detailed manner and would prepare commercials and pricing based on requirements shared by the client. He/ She will propose writeup having solution and commercial, and share the details to clients based on the time frame suggested by client.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understanding of RFP / RFQs requirement in detailed manner
- Gather accurate information from client and perform solution design as per requirement
- If needed able to do the client site visit for better understanding of scope
- Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product profiles and product flow
- identify management and supervisory staffing requirements based on operational process
- As and when required develop layouts to support the proposed solution
- Derive warehouse equipment and operating supply requirements based on activity levels and work content
- Prepare commercials and pricing as required to be submitted to client
- Proposal writeup having solution and commercial for RFP / RFQ response
- Experience in warehouse process understanding and warehouse data analysis
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Co-ordinates well with management, team members and other departments
Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Commercial finalization within due period and make sure all the findings and gaps are properly handled.
- The projects are monitored and closed within timeframe.
KEY SKILLS
- Experience in warehouse process understanding and warehouse data analysis.
- Proficiency in solution design software would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
| Educational Qualification(s): | Graduate / Post Graduate |
| Prior Experience: | 5- 8 years in warehouse related solution designing |
| Skills & Personal Attributes | Better understanding of business and providing accurate solution to client. Focused approach in closing the deal. |
