Role Overview:
As a Packaging Operator, you are responsible for the final handling and packaging of printed circuit board assemblies before shipment or storage. You ensure that products are packed securely, labeled correctly, and meet customer and quality requirements. Your role includes visual inspection, documentation, and coordination with logistics. Prior experience in electronics packaging is essential to ensure proper handling of sensitive components.Primary Function:
To inspect, handle, and package PCBA products according to quality standards and customer specifications, ensuring safe and accurate delivery.
Job Responsibilities

• Perform the final visual inspection of PCBA units before packaging, checking for cleanliness, correct labeling, physical damage, and overall appearance.
• Package products using ESD‑safe materials (bags, foams, trays, shielding boxes) to protect assemblies from static, vibration, and transit-related damage.
• Apply accurate labels for part numbers, revision levels, serial numbers, batch codes, and destination or customer-specific identifiers.
• Follow approved packaging instructions, customer requirements, and special handling guidelines for each PCBA type.
• Handle boards and materials using correct ESD protection, moisture-sensitive device handling, and clean‑area practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe packaging workstation, ensuring all materials are stored and used properly.
• Record packaging data, serial numbers, and QC checks clearly to ensure full traceability of outgoing units.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, or Shipping teams to support timely dispatch, staging, and movement of packaged goods.
• Report incorrect labels, missing information, defective packaging materials, or abnormal product conditions to Team Leaders or Shift Leaders.
• Collaborate closely with Warehouse, Quality Inspectors, Production Operators, Area Shift Leaders, and Shift Leaders to ensure packaged units meet customer expectations and shipment deadlines.
• Follow all safety, ESD, handling, and packaging protocols, ensuring that products, materials, and personnel remain protected and compliant.
• Support continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to packaging flow, labeling clarity, material usage, and defect reduction.

Education level required •High School Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electronics or a related field.
Years and area of experience required •Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics packaging or PCBA handling.
•Prior experience in packaging sensitive electronic components is required.
Technical knowledge •Familiarity with PCBA handling and packaging standards.
•Understanding of ESD safety procedures and protective packaging materials.
•Ability to read and follow packaging instructions and labels.
•Basic knowledge of documentation and traceability practices.
